Joseph Mancini started his career path serving as a business associate for the Teamsters Union in Chicago, before making the big move to the food service field. Joe worked as a produce and fluid dairy buyer for Kraft Foods in Bensonville, Illinois for fifteen years. He took this experience and moved into protein sales with Quantum Foods in 1996. In 2002, Joe decided to step into the area of military food service sales, with the leadership of his Mentor Emily J. Prior. Emily Prior and Joe Mancini worked hand in hand growing DLA-Troop Feeding at Quantum Foods with total support from the Edward Bleka Family. Sadly, 23 Dec 2012 Emily passed away. Joe is the Founding Sponsor of the Emily J Prior Memorial Scholership. administered thru R&DA. Mr. Mancini was elected to the board of directors for IFSEA International for a 3 year term ending in 2000. Mr. Mancini was Appointed to the Research & development Associates for Military Food & Packaging Systems, Inc (R&DA) Board of Directors in 2007 and enthusiastically supports the R&DA efforts to Date.
